All of the churches in town teamed up to sponsor an Easter festival for the kids. There were bands and crafts and an Easter egg hunt.
Luke paid a visit to the Easter Bunny.
Luke waited patiently for the hunt to start.
Emily was ready to go.
Both kids got plenty of eggs, but they were full of candy, so we gave them one piece each and hid the rest. Luckily, they were distracted by all of the fun they were having. They loved hunting for eggs together!
Luke's new friend, Rob, came over to play later in the afternoon. (Rob's mom was the maid of honor at our wedding.) The boys played really well together and had a good time pretending the toy chest was a space ship.
It was a fun and busy day!
